Creative Direct helped Bob Corker become the only new Republican elected
to the United States Senate in 2006. Early polling showed Bob Corker in third place - trailing two better known Republican household names in the GOP Primary. Creative Direct produced a series of mailings to build up Bob Corker’s image, and educate voters about his accomplishments as Mayor of Chattanooga - solidifying him as the candidate with “Conservative Principles, Positive Results.” The result was amazing - after trailing by 20 points, Bob Corker handily won the GOP nomination.
The Democrats picked their dream candidate Harold Ford, Jr. to run against Bob Corker in the general election. The national Democrats poured millions of dollars into this race. Working with the Bob Corker campaign and the Tennessee Republican Party, Creative Direct mailed eighteen targeted pieces highlighting Bob Corker’s plan to bring “The Right Kind of Change for Tennessee,” comparing Bob Corker’s record as a Mayor with Harold Ford, Jr.’s liberal record as a U.S. Congressman. The result was a victory for the Republican.
